Information

It is slowly becoming a family tradition to visit Callaway Gardens (www.callawaygardens.com) while the azaleas are blooming.

In past years it so happened that we only got there by the time those beautiful red, pink, and white flowers were almost all gone. So this time we decided to go a little earlier. The initial plan was for March 25, but the weather didn't cooperate, so we postponed the visit for the next week.

No joke, the weather didn't look too good on April first either, but we decided to go anyway... and we've been rewarded for the courage - by the time we got there (normally an hour and a half from our home, but construction work on Interstate 85 just south of the Atlanta Airport made it two hours and a half) it was nice and warm.
